A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT MYSELF:
Back in 2019 was when I first started doing art workshops, I was running 2 classes per week for children. I have to admit it wasn’t the easiest thing to do. I didn’t study teaching, so trying to keep a room full of kids engaged was challenging, but at times rewarding.
After a few terms of these workshops, I started to think about running adult classes, I just needed to find the right space for it.
Then Covid hit . . .
This lead to the next couple of years, trying to work out how to do workshops in the comfort of home, without having contact with people!
So, I came to the conclusion that I would turn my studio into a filming den, then started filming my first tutorials!
I literally had no idea about filming, lighting, editing, sound and I had to work with what I had, which was just my phone - it was all trial and error.
I now have a pretty good system going and my video quality has improved (I’m still learning tho).
Over the last 13 years of drawing, I have learnt and progressed so much.
When we create and connect with art, we are tapping into something deep in our core. It’s a beautiful way to express oneself and I am so grateful to be able to share this with others.
Through these colour pencil tutorials, I will go thru my whole creative process from start to finish.
I’m so grateful to those who are joining me xxxx
